They are also mandated with the responsibility of promoting the sport and marine environment.
The scuba diving training needs to be completed successfully for one to become a certified scuba diver. You will also be given a scuba diving licensed after you are done with the training. The scuba diving license is necessary because it is the one that allows you to scuba dive with diver operators or rent scuba equipment. Scuba diving certification agencies are many and different around the world. When you are approaching each agency you will have to use different ways also if they are many.
A lot of scuba certification agencies will offer the same training for recreational. Additionally, because they train on the same things, they recognize the qualifications of others. You should join those scuba certification agencies that are recognized globally if only you can afford their charges. You will have to attend theory lessons, when you join a scuba diving school. In the theory lessons, you are taught all the scuba diving safety techniques and the basic scuba concepts. To understand the scuba safety practices you will also have to watch some scuba videos.
Communication under the water is done using hand signals, and these techniques will be learned in the theory lesson. The diving equipment that you will use soon will be introduced to you after you are through with that topic. You will understand the relationship between depth and pressure during that lesson because you will be given textbooks to read. How to use the dive tables when you want to dive and also how to assemble and maintain your scuba equipment will be taught during this lesson.
Another lesson called confined water training will have to be attended also. The experience of breathing under the water is gained during this training lesson. During this lesson, you will also be trained how to use your equipment and practice your buoyancy, and surfacing skills. You will have to pass a final exam after you have completed the theory and confined lessons. After you have passed the final exam, you will progress to the open water portion of the program. An instructor will supervise how you are exercising your scuba diving skills during this training session. Certification to prove that you are a trained scuba diver will happen after you have passed all the tests.
